    Product Description

We need foundations in life - especially when things like health, job and relationships go wrong. But how often do we simply avoid the Bible because we don't know where to look or how it all fits together?

Jesus said at the end of the Sermon on the Mount that anyone who hears his words and obeys them has foundations in life - like a house built on a rock; but anyone who hears them and doesn't put them into practice is like a house built on sand.

Look at the Book helps you get to know the books of the Bible and build foundations. Through 24 chapters - twelve each on the Old and New Testaments - your knowledge of the Bible will grow.

Andrew Killick is a licensed Reader in the Church of England. His book started as a series of ten articles. They have now been adapted and expanded to give 12 chapters on Old Testament books and 12 on the New Testament, plus maps, helpful hints, summaries of each book and sections on what the Bible is and why we should study it.

This book is suitable for those with a desire to know more about the Bible in shorter bursts. The chapters can be read in any order, with helpful hints included throughout. At the end of each chapter there is suggested reading for those who haven't the time to read the whole of the book under discussion.
