Spirituality To GoJim Currin, via The Good Book Stall
Spirituality to Go, described as ‘rituals and reflections for everyday living’ has been a book I have really enjoyed reading. Best read slowly to think and apply all of the practical suggestions given. As a result I have decided to make a photo album of my adult children and light a candle at the Christmas dinner to remember those not with us. It is a fantastically helpful book. It is not ‘cheesy’ or ‘touchy – feely’: just very practical, straight forward and with something for everyone. It even includes sensitive suggestions for those separated and divorced. You might not agree with Olive’s comment on p 65 ‘I absolutely love spring cleaning’, but we do well to follow the advice and spring clean our spiritual lives in a busy schedule. This is a wonderful practical guide for doing just that.
