Jack and the Wardrobe
Full Product Description
Not very well, is the answer for Jack.
But all that changes when he walks straight into a wardrobe in the middle of the street. Jack starts to find out about the owner of the wardrobe, CS Lewis, and about his own family.
Above all, he discovers himself.
Although this is a childrens book, adults who love Narnia will enjoy it as well.
With the release of the Prince Caspian film in June, and the continued success of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, children will be eager to find out about its author.
Let your children learn about CS Lewis, the man who came up with the wardrobe and the land of Narnia behind its doors.
The author, Nicola Jemphrey, has been involved with youth and children's work in churches for over 20 years.
This book contains fully believable characters and is highly recommended.
Jack and the Wardrobe by Nicola Jemphrey was published by Scripture Union in May 2008 and is our 16413th best seller. The ISBN for Jack and the Wardrobe is 9781844272693.

Jack and the WardrobeAnn Evans, via The Good Book Stall
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Two stories run in parallel, that of the present day teenager, Jack, and that of the great C.S. Lewis. Told in the first person, we hear the story of young Jack’s life as he lives through his parent’s marriage breakdown. He shares his emotions and thoughts with us as he tries to work out how he can solve the situation in his own strength. As we know life is complicated and finally Jack realises he needs God’s help to get through the difficult times. Interwoven through the present day plot we are guided through the intriguing life of C.S. Lewis, and are given an informative tour through the events, which moulded his faith and character. A great book for either boys or girls from 11 years upwards. Ann Evans
