Get Your Hopes Up!Melanie Carroll, via The Good Book Stall
In Meyer's inimitable style of humour and insight this book looks at how we can become more positive people by keeping our hopes up... and of course, also more focused on God!
Despite everything that is going on in your life, Meyer contends, you can choose to be positive, you can choose to see the good, you can keep your hope up and focus on the good, and in so doing you will see good things happen to you. God will provide if you focus on him and see the good he has already graced you with, that's not to say bad things don’t, and won't, happen... but it is to say that if you focus on hope, if you hold fast to faith and see the better that is there, then you can get through them. Hope is what gets you through. So don't settle for the negative when you can have the positive instead.
This is an easy to read book that any fan of Meyer will appreciate, and indeed many going through negative situations may also gain some small help from the book too. A larger format paperback it does have a good size comfort print that makes it easier to read, although not to carry around in a bag or pocket.
