Crying For The Light

Full Product Description

Veronica Zundel has lived with depression for more than thirty years, and in this insightful and compassionate book, she tells the story of her struggles with life and honestly explores the ways that depression affects faith. In addition to providing factual information about depression, Zundel also engages the reader on a deeper, emotional level and offers an opportunity to see another Christian's experience with depression. These prayers and poems speak directly to anyone suffering from depression, and the Bible readings that Zundel has selected are enlightening and encouraging. The book is divided into short, easy-to-digest sections for daily reading. Writing with great integrity, Zundel addresses real issues faced by real people who need true healing, and not just a pithy maxim.

Crying For The Light by Veronica Zundel was published by Kregel Publications in February 2009 and is our 36317th best seller. The ISBN for Crying For The Light is 9780825441653.

Crying for the Light by Veronica Zundel, in small format if possible.

A:Hi Janice, I'm afraid we are unable to get any copies of this book in the the country at the moment. If you are looking for a book on depression, or a way of helping someone dealing with it, we do have a department dedicated to Depression and Anxiety. [] Alternately, might I be so bold as to recommend a book which we don't sell (as it isn't a Christian Book) but is an incredibly honest and moving book of one person's experience of depression: Reasons to Stay Alive by Matt Haig. A note, there is some strong language in the book, but not gratuitously. Only in a way that reflects his own struggles. My apologies for the long answer and I hope you are successful in finding what you are looking for. Thank you for using the Q&A Forum. Aaron
