Jamie is now working as a Boatman for King Andrew in Embra – Edinburgh in the Ancient Times - when one day he sees a blind man looking lost and steps forward to help him. This is the start of another exciting adventure which leads him into serious trouble: capture by reivers in the borderlands to the south, sold into slavery in the mines of the evil Sir John who rules Durham, escape and triumph only to return to Embra where more trouble awaits. There is so much going on in this story, far more than I have mentioned, that you have to keep reading and I would love a sequel although this was meant to be a trilogy and this is the third title, pity!
