Set in a winter wonderland of snow, skis and silly songs this is a seasonal story for the whole family. Follow the adventure as Mirabelle - the singing star and 'beauty' of the classic children's tale sets out on a stormy trek with her family band, the VeggieTones.
The band are determined to make it to their next performance gig at the world famous Vegetable Square Garden. But their journey is interrupted by a blizzard of a snowstorm and the whole family gets stuck at a run-down skiing resort in the mountains.
Enter the other half of the beauty and the beet title; the grumpy resort manager, a mean purple-faced beetroot called Mr Beet. Beet makes them sing and clean the resort up to earn their supper. But why is the beastly beetroot such a beastly beet?
Only Mirabelle's compassion and kindness - despite Mr Beet's beastliness, can possibly change him into the loving, talented and well rounded (personality that is, not just his rotund shape) vegetable he was always meant to be.
