Babylon - Dark Chapters
Full Product Description
Daniel is far from home. Jerusalem has been decimated and he has been taken back to Babylon, the most powerful city in the world. As he enters the gates, he feels sick with revulsion. This will be his home for the next seventy years, perhaps even more, but will he be able to stay true to Yahweh, even despite the horrific dangers that will bring?
He underestimated Yahweh. They all did.

BabylonMary Bartholomew, via The Good Book Stall
Dark chapters indeed, this is not for the fainthearted. This is the re-telling in all its bloody detail of the Bible chapters from the Book of Daniel, Chapters 1-6 with episodes from Jeremiah. This brings into stark reality what it was like to live in those times, what it was like to be conquered by a foreign foe. The story follows closely what you can read in the Bible, using knowledge of those times discovered by archaeology and other historical evidence to make it harrowingly real.
It is a gripping and exciting read. Suitable I would suggest, for mid to older teens
