Multi-Sensory Ideas for WorshipWendy Downey, via The Good Book Stall
If you think about it, God created us with many senses, but how many of them do we actually use when we worship Him? One of the great things this book allows us to do, in a variety of ways, is to look at using all five of our senses in our times of worship. There's an introductory session which covers what Multi-Sensory Worship is, which then opens to a wealth of bible references, art and craft options, puzzles, active games, prayers and songs. The suggested songs are all written by Ishmael, some especially for this book. There's also an option for a more traditional style of service in the material as well, which was good to see. Whether you decide to go with the suggested outline, or 'pick and mix', this is a super book to have at your fingertips.

Would this be good for a child with learning difficulties?
Yes, this book takes a more active approach to worship. The activities involved will appeal to all children and the active nature of the activities will allow them to learn in a way that will hold their attention and most importantly will allow them to have fun whilst they learn! The way that the book is presented allows the leader to pick and choose sessions that they feel are appropriate for the current audience.
