Who controls the personal data?

Types of Data

How do we treat children’s privacy?
Some of our products and services are designed for those under the age of 13. We do not ask our customers to provide us with a date of birth, so it is possible for someone of any age to register and purchase our products or services, should they have the means to pay for it online. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with consent for marketing, we will immediately remove this consent. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us using one of the methods in the Contact Us section so that we will be able to take the necessary actions.

How long do we keep your data?
We may keep your information for a varying amount of time. This is to perform our contract with you, fulfil your delivery, assist with any queries, to send any relevant information about products and services and to maintain our financial records in accordance with current UK legislation.
In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
Does Share the Information It Receives?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling it to others.
It is necessary to share some elements of your personal data with our delivery and payment provider partners to fulfil our contract with you. At no time do these partners have access to more personal data than they need to perform their function. We will always have a Data Processing Agreement in place with any such partner prior to the sharing of any relevant information. Promotional offers
Sometimes we send offers with your order to selected groups of customers on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not share any of your personal data with the business who is providing the offer.

With Your Consent
Other than as set out above, we will always be clear and transparent when we present opportunities to you to connect with any third parties. Whenever we do this there will always be a clear option for you to act. We will never collect your data by the use of a pre-ticked selection box.

Business transfers
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy stores, subsidiaries or business units. Data Security
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols, which encrypts information you input. If your email service does not support TLS, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit.

During payment processing we partner with payment providers Sage Pay & Paypal. Both providers are fully PCI compliant.
Sage Pay’s server integration provides a straightforward hosted payment interface for the customer
and takes complete responsibility for the online transaction, including the collection and encrypted
storage of payment data, eliminating the security implications of storing such sensitive information on your’s servers.
Should you have occasion to raise a dispute with your payment provider, we may share details of the relevant transaction in order to respond to the issue you have raised.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personally identifiable customer information. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.

Service messages
Services messages are messages we need to send to let you know about your order, or the service we provide for you.
These are different to marketing emails we send as they contain information we need to tell you to ensure we can provide you with our services effectively. Examples of these include:
