Just what I hoped would be available one day!
Captivating. Narrated (by David Suchet 'Poirot' in a gentle manner as if a dad recounting the stories to a child in a slightly humorous, chatty style. Every major story is condensed to a mini episode of a few minutes. The bite size approach makes it very versatile and there is a storyteller style summary at the end of each episode explaining how that part of the Binle points to God's plan through Jesus. The narrator explains that each theme is all aboit God's love for us and how He works through anyone who trusts in Him no matter how bad they used to be or how uneducated they were. Also written as a whole tale of God's prince given for us with The Creation as the 'Once upon a time' and Revelation as the ' Happy ever after', with the emphasis on the story being true and 'we can be part of the story and the story can come alive in us'. Greatly exceeded my expectation as my children loved it so much they watched all 44 episodes in a couple of hours and loved it! They asked all the most important questions as they started to understand Jesus is the Lamb of God and they could see the Old Testament promises fulfilled in the New Testament straight away as the whole picture of history was condensed so clearly. They have asked me to show each episode in turn each week so I can explain the teaching in more depth for each one so I am hoping to buy the curriculum for it. We've only had it for one afternoon and it has had an amazing impact! Lovely illustrations and no gimmics to detract from the message.
