He stood for all that is good in every religion and tried his best in throught and action to mitigate the differences that divide mankind and make them uselessly antagonistic. Even then he was not prepared to compromise and underrate the truth and the justice to make room for their opposites . He held the highest position of the philosopher-king, which was a dream of Plato.
