"The Records of Convocation" contains the minutes of clergy synods, the legislation passed by them tax assessments imposed by the king on the clergy, and accounts of the great debates about religious reformation and reform. The two volumes of records of the Manx convocation cover the period from 1229 to the present day, but they are of particular interest for the eighteenth century, where they provide a remarkably full and detailed account of a vigorous period of ecclesiastical reform.
