Being an ambitious woman sometimes gets confused with being something else... It used to bother me, when I was younger, but now I simply embrace the compliment and change that "other word" to Ambitious. Throughout my life, I have paid attention to the ambitious woman around me. My mother, my aunts, my sister-in-law, my pastor, my teachers, professors and my friends. The person I am today, has taken lessons learned from each of them. I think this is why I started mentoring. Lessons learned should be shared. And so, I am now sharing with you in The AB Club. I have three ambitious, beautiful and talented girlfriends who are all different from each other, yet so much the same. We eat, play and pray together. We gain and loose weight together. My friends will tell you that I live by three core values, which I have developed into many of the AB Survival Skills in this book. Core Values Believe in yourself. Have a purpose or intent in life - beyond your job. Be secure in your religious beliefs. As you read through the pages of The AB Club, you will hopefully see these values in yourself and the women in your life. The AB Club is separated into five chapters: You - Family - Love - Work - Faith, offers a list of fun and sometimes serious survival skills. You can take this book seriously and use it to help you find balance and happiness in your life or you can just have fun, and skim through it, finding the AB Survival Skills that make you laugh, cry, think or remind you of a situation that just makes you smile.
