Just as a million of former slaves followed a flame in the desert wilderness, just as a German living in industrial England with thousands of orphans, just as a British doctor in inland China facing death daily during the Boxer Rebellion, this family's story is no different. They all lived by this one simple principle found in Hebrews 11:6:

Without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.

This story captures the struggles and victories of God's provisions in their lives as they followed the call of Jesus Christ to come and follow, leaving EVERYTHING behind.
