Kick Start for New Groups: A Six-Session Journey into Holy Community

Living in holy community together is the surest way to grow closer to God and journey through the challenges of life with others. This six-session Christian study provides an easy-to-follow, self guided map for those new to or returning to Groups (Small Groups, Growth Groups, Life Groups, Home Groups etc.). Whether you just want to try it out, or have thought about leading a Group but don't know how, Kick Start for New Groups is the perfect place to begin.

With free videos, ice breakers, and biblically-focused questions and discussion, each session builds on the previous one. From creating a safe space, to developing genuine friendships, to group discipleship, prayer and serving, this hands-on approach will cover all the dynamics of being part of a Group with an interactive, forward movement.

Rev. Benevides created this study out of a vision to put a new group right in the driver's seat, so that they can take the concept of a Group out for a test run. With a shared leadership model throughout to help identify the giftings of each group member, the final session of the study also offers pointers on next steps for those who wish to continue.

Natasha Jo Benevides has been in church leadership for sixteen years. She is the Pastor of Small Groups and Family Life (Adults) at a larger church in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. A published author and accomplished speaker, she holds a Master of Divinity from Tyndale Seminary, with a focus on Spiritual Formation.
