How the Church Lost the Way

Now a Christian, it is from Steve Maltz Jewish background comes his knowledge of Jewish worship and the Hebrew language. He has searched into the history of Christianity to find why the church as we know it has separated itself from the worship Jesus knew and instead has taken on pagan forms of worship and thinking. He explains the influence of Plato in particular on Christian thought and the damage that has resulted. He urges today’s Christians to ‘return to the very beginning, to the mindset and beliefs of Jesus and His disciples, the Hebrew roots of Christianity.’ Much food for thought in this book. I am glad I read it.
