It’s rare for a 64 page book to be reissued as a “classic” when published less than 50 years ago, but Westberg gives a quick and robust defence for the need to grieve followed by descriptions of the 10 different stages a grieving person may go through, and enables, sometimes through humour, the mourner to know that the various emotions they face in such circumstances are totally normal.
