Dr. Sands is an ordained Baptist minister of the Gospel who has devoted his life in ministry to the mentorship of new ministers who seek to serve God's people genuinely. He is a dynamic teacher, theologian, and facilitator whose classes evoke truth, clarity, freedom, and understanding of the ministry's role in the church and the obligation of ministers to God's people and the Holy scripture. He earned his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from the Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia.
