      Product Description

Jack Hunter, a native New Yorker known for his dreams and romantic spirit, finds himself on an extraordinary journey toward an unforeseen destiny. While studying to become a pilot at Eagle Crest AFB, Jack distinguishes himself as a naturally gifted aviator and an inspiring leader, setting the stage for a promising career. However, a detour to the quaint Mexican town of San Martin leads him into an intricate tale of danger and intrigue.

In San Martin, Jack becomes captivated by Melinda Garcia, a captivating cantina singer and dancer. Little does he know that this enchanting encounter will entangle him in a dangerous game with an emerging Mexican drug cartel, led by powerful Colombian drug lords. Recognizing the impending threat that Melinda's ruthless relative poses in framing him for drug trafficking, both military and DEA officials devise a plan to train Jack as an undercover DEA agent.

This marks the beginning of Lieutenant Hunter's dual life as a skilled pilot and an undercover DEA agent. A pivotal moment occurs when Melinda, now a DEA informant, is granted a special border pass. Jack escorts her to Eagle Crest AFB's Officers' Club for a Brasil '66 performance. Unexpectedly, Melinda takes the stage due to the lead singer's illness, delivering an extraordinary performance that catches the attention of Pedro Melendez, Jack's nemesis.

Pedro, driven by jealousy and his desire to marry Melinda, plots revenge upon learning of her success. Seizing an opportunity, DEA officials learn of Pedro's absence from San Martin and assign Jack and Melinda to a covert mission in the Mexican town of Arcoiris. There, they collaborate with Melinda's family to dismantle Pedro's influence and eradicate the drug trade. As tensions escalate, the mission accelerates, causing Jack's transfer to the notorious FBI Delta Camp.

As September dawns, Jack, codenamed Badger, embarks on his final mission in San Martin. He discloses his undercover role to Melinda, enlisting her aid. An attempt to enlist Esmeralda, a cantina girl, inadvertently endangers her life. Jack orchestrates a daring rescue by horseback, securing Esmeralda's safety in US custody. In a strategic move, Jack engineers his own arrest, aware of cocaine hidden in his vehicle's wheel well. Consequently, he is handed over to Mexican authorities and confined in the renowned Prison Modelo near the barrio nicknamed Perdido.

In a harrowing twist, Jack is transported to a remote hideout in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range, where he faces brutal interrogation and torture. Meanwhile, Operation Eagle Intercept, a joint US-Mexican drug mission, unfolds successfully. However, Pedro manages to escape, taking Melinda's family as hostages. Jack and Melinda's cousin Gregorio lead a triumphant rescue mission, ultimately liberating the hostages.

In a testament to their unyielding bond, Jack and Melinda finally exchange vows at Del Rio's Virgin of Guadalupe Catholic Church, solidifying their enduring love amid the backdrop of a complex and perilous journey.
