During his Junior year in highschool, Jimmy Bass suffers from a psychotic episode, resulting in an almost complete loss of memories about people in his past. His psychiatrist uncle helps him overcome his feelings of low self worth and teaches him how to shoot a basketball. When Jimmy returns home, he becomes a star of the basketball team, but struggles with remembering friends from his past as well as those who caused his mental breakdown. As memories return, he struggles with forgiving those who caused his pain and wanting to get revenge. When he meets his former girlfriend who left him to gain popularity with one of his tormentors, he finds she is still hanging on to deep feelings for him. Jimmy Bass learns how to accept his past and grow towards a successful future.
