    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

Written for children between nine and twelve years old, this is a resource for home and school. Written for a generation that knows little about the Bible compared to generations gone by, this book seeks to fill many of these gaps in knowledge. Firstly by describing what the Bible is and how it came about, then going through the Bible stories starting with the creation stories of Genesis and explaining the different understanding of the creation passages by Christians some of whom interpret this story as a poetic way of describing the Creation, and others who believe that the six days mentioned, mean just that, six days. Book by book, story by story, the Bible is explored, including books that are excluded in some Christian traditions. Necessarily brief, how else would the whole Bible be packed into this book, it is still amazing how much information is included in this excellent volume.
