Movement is essential to our physical and emotional wellbeing. Yoga helps us not only move our bodies, but the practice also teaches us to breathe, honor our abilities, and trust ourselves.

Because...

God is essential for our mental wellness, our physical needs, and our daily activities. Our spiritual health matters, and Sometimes we have difficulty connecting with God in meaningful ways. Try praying and praising with your body and see how you feel.

Because...

Black Girls are magical and divine, and should be seen everywhere. We don't always see Black and Brown bodies in yoga spaces. My daughter's image in this book allows me to honor her and represent little Black and Brown children. She brings the magic of melanin, movement and sovereign connection to other little people exploring yoga and life.

So why Salute the Son?

Salute the Son is crafted with love to offer an intentional and spiritual Christ-centered practice. It is designed to showcase melanin magic on the mat. It is created to combine connection, mindfulness, movement, and faith.

Follow along with this interactive body prayer that teaches a bit of yoga and a whole lot of communion with Sovereignty.
