A charming tale the sole purpose of which is to teach children to understand the similarities of the religions rooted in the faith of Abraham. Helena is a very sick little girl who is often confined to her bed, but that doesn’t stop her dreaming. One night she dreams that an Angel come to her bedside and invites her to go on a journey, a voyage of discovery. Helena receives gifts from the wise men of three very different cities, one Jewish, one Islamic and one Christian and from each she understands the same message, ‘To Love God, and to Love other people as You love Yourself’. A timely message or our fractured world. There is more, but I wont spoil the story. At the end of the book the text of the story is repeated in Hebrew and Arabic. A nice touch.
