'White Flag' is the new CD recorded live at the Passion 2012 conference at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in January, 2012.
Music sequel to 'Passion: Here For You' 2011, 'White Flag' is the best live performance from four days of music and teaching attended by 42,000 students from 31 countries.
Surrender to God in the fight of faith
The 14 track CD is a live recording from the best of Passion 2012 with a mix of familiar worship music themes and brand new sounds. Title track of the album: White Flag is led by Chris Tomlin with lyrics calling for a complete surrender to God in order to win the fight of living by faith.
Contrasting combinations of voices and instruments drive the emotions with the big drums and heavy guitar of Krstian Stanfill’s Not Ashamed and the simple piano led worship of Christy Nockels with How I love You, love You Jesus.
Farewell The David Crowder* Band
A memorable feature of 'White Flag' is the final live performance from David Crowder Band with a farewell rendition of All This Glory. Other worship favourites including 10,000 Reasons from Matt Redman and Chris Tomlin’s Yahweh all find well deserved space with new live performances on the Passion stage.
This year’s Passion conference goal was to raise $1 million to fight slavery and human trafficking. Over the four day conference, lead by Passion ministries founder, Louie Gigilio, students and worshippers donated an astounding total of $3.1 million.
White Flag: the not so-trivial-files
The cover design for the 'White Flag' album was chosen from an open-to-all competition that pulled in over 400 designs. Would be music designers were given just 5 days to submit entries.
