Getting on board with Social Media

Increasingly aware that many of their customers are using social media and internet shopping, Nigel & Kath Cope from Christian Book Centre, Preston, decided to use their Facebook page and website to recommend some new books. “It’s been amazing how many people we’ve reached that way,” says Nigel. “People have come into the shop to purchase and even posted on Facebook asking us to reserve a copy for them.

We’ve updated every couple of weeks, reviewing new books by Jeff Lucas, Philip Yancey, Francine Rivers and local author Rebecca Parkinson whose latest book Archie! TV Star was flying off the shelves and into Christmas stockings in December!
