I like to keep a devotional prayer book on my desk, not necessarily to read from cover to cover but simply to dip into at the beginning of the day or to take a 5-minute break from answering emails. So you can imagine I was delighted when a copy of this book of prayer arrived in the mail. At first glance I was impressed on how the book had been packaged both in its cover design and page layout; it had a real feel of “read me” which not all books do.
This book of prayers for women covers every season of life from marriage, children and work, to growing older. Written in a style that is sometimes humorous, very practical but always thought-provoking, the prayers are accompanied with a verse of Scripture or a quote from a well-known person. This would make an ideal gift to give to a friend to encourage them and is one retailers should consider adding to their shelves.
