A popular Blogger is giving away copies of his eBook in return for donations to help him get his truck from Turkey to New Zealand.
Andrew Jones, who blogs as Tall Skinny Kiwi, has spent much of the last two decades living on the road with his family.
But the experience of travelling across the world helping Christian leaders, is on-hold until the New Zealander can retrieve the giant 4x4.
Andrew must fly from New Zealand to Turkey and drive his truck 4000 Km through six countries. He then plans to ship the truck to New Zealand and pick up his family, who are currently waiting for him in a Mongolian style yurt.
Writing on his Tall Skinny Kiwi Typepad page yesterday, Andrew estimated the total cost to be just over $6000.
He is offering the book to anyone who donates $10 or more through his website.
The blogger says the currently unfinished book is based on his "life-changing" 35 country trek during 2011. "[It's] a journey that has given me new perspective on the global Christian movement as well as my own life priorities," he wrote.
Once Andrew has retrieved the truck, he plans to travel to Asia with his wife and five children.
Writing on his blog, Andrew says the most common question he is asked is about schooling. "We home-school our kids and they love it," he writes.
Andrew describes himself as a "global nomad" and "social entrepeneur". He has been blogging about his travels, spirituality and culture since 2003.
