Bethel Music Announce New Album - Starlight

Twitter has been alight this month with exciting Bethel Worship news. A brand new, shiny live album, due for release in April.

Starlight, recorded live on their recent tour is a follow up the hugely successful live album, You Make Me Brave (May 2014).

The atmospheric cover and accompanying black and white imagery suggest a collection of poetic, moving praise.

Like You Make Me Brave, which was recorded at the Bethel Women’s Conference, Starlight features a strong lineup of stunning female worship voices. Including: Jenn Johnson, Steffany Gretzinger, Amanda Cook, Kristen DiMarco, Kalley Heiligenthal, Melissa Helser, Hannah McLure and Francesca Battistelli.

All this week, Bethel Music have been sharing sneak peeks of what is to come. The title track, Starlight, led by Amanda Cook is and awe-filled, beautiful reminder of the ever-present closeness of God. This is not praise to an over-worldly, distant deity but a God who shows up and stays near.

King of my Heart led by Steffany Gretzinger with its stirring refrain “you are good, you are good” already feels like the perfect fit for congregational worship.

Bethel are known for accessible, relatable worship and Starlight is no different, we can already see this album being a firm favourite in 2017 and beyond.
