Make paper boats, draw people on them and maybe some fish, and float them in a large tray or bowl of water(or place them on a blue blanket or sheet) while thinkingabout and praying for people who work on the sea.
The boats could be decorated to look like a lifeboat,a fishing boat, a ferry, a sailing boat, a cruise ship etc.
Make a sign saying:
‘Dear God, please look after everyone who works on the sea. Amen’.

Long overshadowed by the celebrations of Easter Sunday, Lent is being rediscovered as a sacred time of reflection and renewal in its own right and a time of preparation for the joyous seasonal finale.
