To Save a Life DVD
Full Product Description

Best friends from childhood, Jake literally owed Roger his life. But as they got older and went to high school things changed.  Jake became the star athlete, adored by the rest of his basketball team and becoming the guy that has it all.  Jake's future looks certain. He has a college scholarship, a beautiful girlfriend and the life that every teenager wants. Old friend Roger just doesn't fit into that life.

‘To Save a Life’ tells how former buddy, Roger, becomes a lost guy, tired of the world he lives in. He makes a dramatic and tragic choice to end that life once and for all.  Now Jake can't go back to how things used to be – even if he wanted. In his pain and guilt, he searches for answers that begin to take him on a very different road.

This thoughtful and ultimately uplifting Christian DVD is about real life issues that face young people today and the difficult choices they have to make.  In ‘To Save a Life’ teens struggle with regret, loneliness and pain, but this film also has something else, it's a story of hope. ‘To Save a Life’ is a movie about living a life of significance and will leave you asking yourself...What's my life going to be about?

The screenplay is written by Jim Britts and his wife Rachel who faced their own life changing redirection from Hollywood movie makers to youth pastors with a heart to communicate the biblical concept that we are never more like Jesus then when we reach out to the lonely, the marginalized and the hurting.

To Save a Life is an edgy film that’s ideal for families with teens, for youth groups and for starting discussion on teenage loneliness and exclusion. But it also has a much wider reach because, as Christians, we all meet the kind of people Jesus came for everyday and we choose how we treat them and how we reflect Christ to them.

This is a region 0 DVD and will play on any DVD player. (Running time 117 minutes)

The movie is rated PG because it deals with mature thematic elements including the effects of teen suicide, the impact of teen drinking, some drug references and some mild sexual images. This is to illustrate the dangers of these activities and in no way approves or condones such behaviour.

What will your life be about?
- Jo, Sales & Marketing Manager, Eden.co.uk
Some films are great cinema, some films have an amazing story, some films make you laugh and some are guaranteed to make you cry - To Save a Life is destined to make people think. Sure it has a few clichés and a number of bits that made me cringe (but then so do plenty of my favourite films), I saw myself in more than one scene and I heard plenty of my thoughts and words from my youth being voiced by the characters. All in all, To Save a Life reminded me that loving God isn't about Him making my life easy or fair, it's about Him shining through me and making a difference.

Inspirational and Genuine

To Save a Life is truly engaging and open-heartedly tackles real issues that confront teenagers allowing it to be believable and personal to the watcher. It is captivating in its journey towards compassion and explores emotions that are transferred through the television to the sofa. A must buy Christian film

Some people are just dieing to be heard
- Matty
This film is a vital reasource that we can use i our every day life which confronts suicide, selfharm and teenage sex. It has the potential to save lives and bring hope to the hopeless. This is not a film that you can only once watch once because it can change your life and not a film that can be left in the wardrobe. The best film ive ever seen, so relatable.

Freedom to be you!
- Gary, Ballymena - being myself!
A professionally made Christian film which isn't cheesy. For too long Christian films have been the poor relation in the dvd market. No more. To Save A Life is challenging, thought provoking and encouraging - for adults and teenagers alike. A recent newspaper article stated that young people have an identity crisis - desperate to conform to their peer group afraid of rejection if they don't. To Save A Life shows the awful impact this can have, but also the fantastic release and freedom that living for God, being yourself can bring. Highly recommended
