The Red ScorpionRuthie Thomas, via The Good Book Stall
A powerful biography that is a modern day testimony to the amazing grace of God, the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver from Evil.
At the age of fourteen Rami Kivisalo’s parents moved from Finland to the Tanzania mission field. There Rami became fascinated with an African Kung Fu master and his art. Giving himself fully as the master’s student, Rami becomes an expert and opens himself up to the demonic invasions that are integral to his tutor’s expertise. Later Rami tattoos his body with a red scorpion and from then on the demonic hold on his life closes like an iron clamp over him. Violence, criminal activity and involvement with the Russian mafia become his way of life. Eventually through answered prayers Rami opens his heart to Jesus but the story doesn’t end there as the demons are most reluctant to leave their recruit. The story also depicts a separation between attendees just filling seats in church and the Christians engaged in the warfare raging in the spiritual realm. Fascinating but not an easy read.
