The Grace Outpouring
The Grace Outpouring by Roy Godwin; Dave Roberts was published by David C Cook Publishing Company in October 2008 and is our 41st best seller. The ISBN for The Grace Outpouring is 9781842914045.
Find reassurance and connection in the story of a place of retreat that became a house of prayer and much, much more.
The Grace Outpouring is a captivating account of the unexpected and unlooked for power of the Holy Spirit in a Welsh hillside community.
Challenging and encouraging, the miraculous healings – both physical and spiritual are in keeping with a pattern throughout history of God using marginalised people in obscure places.
The Grace Outpouring is the moving story of life in a Christian retreat centre, and of a couple who thought they were opting for a quiet life. From the moment they arrived in the Welsh hamlet community of Ffald-y-Brenin (‘The King’s Sheepfold’) they were amazed by the power of God as he moved into their lives.

A blessing for all Christians - Don Foxwell, a follower of Jesus wherever I am.
This is the most astonishing and remarkable account of God at work in the British Isles, and the continuing outpouring of the Holy Spirit and miracles being wrought in Pembrokeshire since Celic times. I have never read a book that has blessed and encouraged me so much as this one. I am just finishing it for the 2nd time, and I know that I will read it again!
A real encouragement - Alison, Thankful for God's faithfulness.
Recommended to me by a friend, I found it immensely encouraging to read how one small location in Wales is being used by God to reach people around the world. It reminds us of the real miraculous power that is available through the Holy Spirit. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to reconnect with God and learn more about his abundant blessing. I will be reading this book again too!
Read it and share it. - Jenny, a worker in the vineyard.
This book was recommended to me by the director of Call2Prayer in Norfolk. I acquired it after some delay, because it was out of stock. It was worth the wait-I found it so encouraging and indeed life-changing that I shared the message with my fellowship group and then bought 10 copies to distribute to friends and then had to get more when some of them wanted to give the book to their friends and families. The circle of blessing is spreading wider.
Learn about the power of speaking blessings - Ann, loving Jesus, loving people.
This account has inspired me, and like other reviewers, I have bought several copies to share around at church. Is about Roy's reluctant move to the retreat centre at Ffald-y-Brenin, in Pembrokeshire, and then how God directed him in the process of setting up a rhythm of daily prayer and then a House of Prayer, with amazing results for the local community and beyond. There is further teaching available from the Retreat Centre which I also recommend. He is also doing a speaking tour in 2011.Buy it and be blessed!
