The Art of Mentoring
Full Product Description
the most amazing mentor
I know."--Louie Giglio
Darlene Zschech, one of the world's most respected worship leaders, writes honestly and realistically of how both current leaders and those coming along after them can overcome hurdles and by the grace of God work together for the good of the church. In this critical message, she urgently challenges the church to raise up a new generation of leaders whose hearts are centered on God. Her leadership at Hillsong Church combined with her international work has created a passion for mentoring those who share her heart for God. Zschech speaks with an artist's voice that will reach people who might bypass the more business-oriented books.
The Art of Mentoring by Darlene Zschech was published by Baker in August 2012 and is our 12796th best seller. The ISBN for The Art of Mentoring is 9780764209352.

The Art of MentoringJackie Rowe, via The Good Book Stall
Darlene Zschech writes from her considerable experience as a leader and mentor. Her focus is on building bridges to the next generation of leaders and helping them to grow into all that God has for them. She writes in her introduction: "I've spoken to many leaders who have outstanding dedication to the things of God and yet seem to lack revelation about raising the next generation to serve Him." She invites us to learn from her own journey - mistakes and all - so that we can pour our lives into seeing the dreams of others come true. Her approach is to share 14 'values' that she feels are vital in shaping the lives of both mentor and mentoree. Each value is based around a Scripture passage.
The challenge of this book is to be generous to the younger ones in our churches and to recognize and encourage their unique gifts. If you want to know how to pass on the baton to new leaders, this book is for you.
