•  ‘Let Everything That Has Breath’ – a Matt Redman classic (from Intimacy, 1998). With its clear scriptural link to Psalm 150, this song keeps on making a comeback in churches everywhere.
•  ‘The Lord’s My Shepherd’ – first appearing in 1650 within the Church of Scotland, that hymn rose to popularity when sung in Queen Elizabeth’s wedding ceremony in 1947. A beautiful paraphrase of Psalm 23, which to this day remain faithful to David’s words.•  ‘This Is How We Overcome’ – from Hillsongs 9th album (By Your Side, 1999, written by Reuben Morgan). If you’ve forgotten this one, you’ll be overjoyed to rediscover it. Great bass line and a positive charm that melts away your troubles.
•  ‘I Give You My Heart (This Is My Desire)’ – another Hillsong classic (from God Is In The House, 1996, written by Reuben Morgan). A song that captured the words in people’s hearts. We still regularly  sing this song in our church.
•  ‘Before the Throne of God Above’ – written by Charitie Lees Bancroft, an Irish American hymnwriter in 1983. Originally called ‘The Advocate’, her timeless song was resurrected in evangelical circles in the 20th Century and has propelled the faith of many modern Christians, including myself.
•  ‘Jesus Friend Forever (What A Friend I’ve Found)’ – one of Delirious’ first songs (from King of Fools, 1997, written by Martin Smith). Arguably the most intimate and deeply moving worship songs in the collection. I truly hope this wonderful song never gets lost in the years to come.
