When You Can't Pray

It's written for Christians who try to pray and can't. The problem is not that they have no interest in prayer, but that they find it very difficult or pointless. Prayer may seem so frustrating that they've almost given up on it.We will listen to these people. And we will hear from the God of grace. God is indeed the God we Christians confess Him to be and to which the Bible bears witness. His faithfulness is stronger than the failures that ambush us. Because Christian hope is all the New Testament claims, it has far more to do with God holding us than with our holding Him. In the confidence that God is unmatched in His holiness, love and mercy and that He is not frightened by honest people, we will give voice to those who cannot pray. We will let doubt, disenchantment, tragedy and even anger speak - just as the Bible does. We will also give full voice to grace and Christian hope as authored by our Lord Jesus Christ.
