We Welcome You

This welcome resource provides a ready-made, three-part course to help prepare parents and godparents bringing children for baptism.

It also offers resources for helping the church family to understand its key role in baptism and to offer the best welcome possible. Informal and participative, with the emphasis on welcome, the sessions cover: - Getting ready - The big day itself! - What christening means for the rest of life.

A wide range of learning styles and resources are included, from film clips, creative storytelling, reflection and discussion, to craft and icebreaker activities.

Photocopiable materials are included. Designed to be used with small groups, variations are also included for using the material with one family at a time, making this resource suitable for use in large and small churches alike.
