Reporter Moira Harrison is lost. In the dark. In a thunderstorm. When a lone figure suddenly appears in the beam of her headlights, Moira slams on her brakes-but its too late. She feels the solid thump against the side of her car before crashing into a tree on the far side of the road.
A man opens her door, tells her he saw everything, and promises to call 911. Then the world fades to black. When she comes to, she is alone. No man. No 911. No injured person. But she cant forget the look of terror she saw on that face in the instant before her headlights swung away. And she cant get anyone to believe her story-except maybe a handsome exhomicide detective turned private eye, who reluctantly agrees to take on the case.
As clues begin to surface, it becomes obvious that someone doesnt want this mystery solved-and will stop at nothing to protect a shocking secret.

Readers' Praise for This Book:
"Vanished" is yet another amazing suspense book from Irene Hannon and Revell! The mystery is really intense, and I had trouble putting this book down for school and meals! Enjoy Christian suspense? Have you read and loved anything by Lynette Eason? If so, it's guaranteed you'll enjoy this one. I can't wait to read the next book ("Trapped," coming in October). There's not a slow minute in the entire book. Prepare to have your heart pound - you'll be wowed. "Vanished" is a must-have book, more than worth buying!" - Other Retailer's Reviewer.
"Irene Hannon once again takes us to the creepy side of life with her spellbinding suspense. Moira Harrison is a top-notch reporter that has gone to great lengths to get her story so when she tells the police that come to the scene of her accident she hit a woman; she knows she has hit a woman." - Other Retailer's Reviewer.
"I absolutely love Irene's novels; I cannot wait to grab them up as soon as they come out. She has a way with words that makes you lose yourself in the story and it's as though you feel the same terror the heroine or hero feels. This story will pull you in and you'll not want to put it down. Thanks Irene for another satisfying suspense that had me sitting on the edge of my seat until the very end." - Other Retailer's Reviewer.
