    The Good Book Stall

    Average rating of0.0

This brightly illustrated Candle Bible story will appeal to younger children (3-7yr olds). The story begins with Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey and leads you through the events of the crucifixion and resurrection, ending with Jesus' ascension into heaven. The older children in the age bracket will enjoy following the map in the middle of the book which shows where Jesus went while he was in Jerusalem. Personally, I wasn't too sure about the picture of the female angels (one dressed in pink!) but the story and illustrations are engaging and enjoyable and will help younger children learn all about the Easter story. (If it leads you to check in the Bible for accuracy then so much the better!) This book would make a lovely alternative to an Easter egg and will probably cost you less too! It makes welcome change to find an accessible Easter story for children amongst the huge number of Christmas stories available!
