The Story: Teen Edition
Full Product Description
God has gone to great lengths to rescue lost and hurting people. That is what The Story is all about--the story of the Bible, God's great love affair with humanity. In this teen edition of The Story, the text of the Bible is condensed into 31 chapters, each introduced by a quick review of where The Story has been and hint at where it is going.
Fun flip-book animation about the overall characters and elements are featured in the margins. Side tabs will help you bookmark your spot. The Story sweeps you into the unfolding progression of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation. Using the clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand text of the New International Version, it allows the stories, poems, and teachings of the Bible to read like a novel. And like any good story, The Story is filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance, and redemption.
The story is the Bible -in its own words. Selections from the NIV Bible with short transitions to connect the reader to the continuing story. Events, characters and teachings of the Bible arranged chronologically. Time lines of Bible events. Bible text from the fully revised and updated New International Version (NIV). In easy to read 11.5 point font.
The Story: Teen Edition by New International Version was published by Hodder & Stoughton in September 2011 and is our 2984th best seller. The ISBN for The Story: Teen Edition is 9781444702392.

The StoryMary Bartholomew, via The Good Book Stall
Another in the ‘family’ of books whose titles each start with The Story and each with a foreword by Max Lucado and Randy Frazee, covering each of the different age groups. This one for teenagers, like the others, is also deliberately ‘age appropriate’.
Hodder have published each of these titles with anglicised text of the (NIV) New International Version, of the Bible.
Carefully chosen passages from the Bible interspersed with linking ‘transitions’ in italics, help the reader to get a full understanding of the Bible as a continuous story. Easy to read through or to dip into.
With a full timeline at the front and portions repeated at the start of each section, every opportunity has been taken to engage a teenager’s attention.
With discussion questions at the end, a List of Characters and a Chart of References, this is an ideal gift for an older Baptism or a Confirmation candidate and could be a useful tool for any Youth Bible study.
