Stories For ChildrenIan Gibson, via The Good Book Stall
Captivating takes especially for the 5-12 age group, very thoughtfully prepared and researched and will inspire the youngsters, not only with seeking more answers from scripture but also to allow them to do their own research using modern techniques such as the world wide web, taking care to pre warn those who encourage such research of the dangers of unsupervised access to some sites as well. There are fifty stories from everyday life each relating to a different bible passage. Each story ends with suggested activities which can be child led or guided. There are recommendations for visual aids, a short prayer to accompany each story and the whole book is divided into specific church calendar days and for general use. With a colourful packaging and instant eye appeal, this will make a great present for the younger members of families and prove a worthwhile resource as well.
