Snitch by Booker T. Mattison was published by Baker Publishing Group in July 2011 and is our 22936th best seller. The ISBN for Snitch is 9780800733964.
Andre Bolden isn't one to complain. Sure, he split up with his girl Sandra, he doesn't get to see his son Little Dre much, and he's worried about paying child support. But he's got a steady job driving a bus--and in Jersey City, that's something.
Then Andre's world comes crashing down when he witnesses a murder on his bus route and later loses his job. When Andre realizes that the murderer is a feared gang leader, he needs to watch his back. He's trying to get it all back together, but it seems like even God is out to get him.
Enter the gritty world of Booker T. Mattison's Snitch, where the streets are alive and you need to tread lightly. This raw tale of revenge, romance, and redemption will leave readers breathless.

Snitch - Publishers Weekly
Author and filmmaker Mattison's sophomore outing reads like it's ready for screen adaptation. The action starts with the bang of a gun: bus driver Andre Bolden sees a man shot to death, and the shooter sees that Andre sees. Then the character drama unrolls, slowly and surely. Andre is a gifted writer and athlete stuck driving a bus; he's still in love with Sandra, the ex-girlfriend he left, and he's also attached to their young son, whom Sandra is raising. Andre had a history of bad but understandable choices, and now he faces a major moral dilemma: if he doesn't tell what he saw, he loses his job and his self-respect. If he does, he puts his own life—and his loved ones—in danger. Mattison's host of minor characters are good and bad guys, and all have their backstories and their reasons. Christian elements are an organic part of a story that offers no cheap hope. Mattison (Unsigned Hype) has a superb ear, and his skill keeps on growing.
