I've not finished it yet....it's only Dec 26th...but this book has been such a means of hearing from God and keeping a balance as I have prepared for Christmas.Immanuel....this wonderful, amazing, holy Son of God is actually with us 24/7. The truth, implications and reality of this is presented in the most life-giving,challenging and joyful way. There is no condemnation for failure or inadequacy but rather a constant focus on Who JESUS is causing me to desire Him more and to live in the reality of His constant Presence.It also lifts your focus beyond your own circumstances. I found myself frequently reminded of truths with fresh insight,receiving challenges from familiar scriptures and seeing things in the Word I've never seen before. It has really made a difference in my life and to this Christmas. It has been a joyful and edifying Advent study and one I thoroughly recommend to any one, at whatever stage of the Christian walk you are at.
