Neat design, rather impractical - Wes, in Ireland

This is a curious Bible. The design is slightly different than the photo here. The latch is a hook mechanism. The hook has a knob on the front, and pivots to the left to unlatch. Because of the size of the metal mechanism, it cannot be placed on a shelf with other Bibles. It may be a fine purchase for a young boy, although the text is small because of the compact size.
