Heavy Duty Bible to last a lifetime - Sean, Manchester

The ESV Study Bible is a true volume of Bible Study excellence. The notes, resource essays, guides, maps and wealth of study assist really are outstanding and will reveal layers of the Bible that you've never really thought about before. The translation itself is literal which means its as close to word-for-word as is possible (as opposed to say the Message which is pure paraphrase or NLT which is more interpretive) so it serves as an awesome resource to really get into the Bible in a purist way. The Binding is outstandting quality leather and its built to last a lifetime (at this price you want it to be). I like the brown as black is so well - dark (!). Its a bible i go to everyday. Chunky investment but that in itself makes you want to read it... Overall awesome
