Full Product Description
Carrie Rocha, founder and owner of Pocket Your Dollars.com, one of the most popular sites on the web, shares the secrets that will help you change the way you think about money. Seven years ago she and her husband were surprised to discover the mountain of debt they'd accumulated. They knew they'd have to make big changes. Thirty months later they were debt free and have stayed that way ever since.
How did they do it? It wasn't through a step-by-step financial program or spending plan. It turns out, budgets can't fix everything--real change takes an attitude adjustment.
You too can triumph over the pitfalls that lead to financial stress. With practical help in every chapter, including real-life examples and easy-to-use self-assessment tools, you’ll soon understand what Carrie discovered: Lasting change can start today.
Pocket Your Dollars by Carrie Rocha was published by Baker in February 2013 and is our 44423rd best seller. The ISBN for Pocket Your Dollars is 9780764210877.

Pocket Your DollarsJohnny Douglas, via The Good Book Stall
Vision and focus lie at the heart of a life well spent. This is a pacey, culturally American, resource guide to living wisely and well within our means. At the heart of this new title from Carrie Rocha is the foundational matter of attitude.
There are challenging and needed alignments invited here of the reader. There is theory but lots of practice including the truth of many times when things didn't quite work out. There's layers of usefulness and many great ideas that people can do. The content and communication translate very well.
My hinge moment with this book was the attitude "if I only had more money". Rocha debunks the future notion of lottery or free-flowing monies in our bank accounts, rooting it all in attitude.
At the heart is the thesis that you can do all the right things, but if your underlying thinking is wrong, you won't do the right things for long. Attitude is key: the struggles, explanations and solutions offered are full of life.
