Paschal Transfer: Alpha and Omega Cross, with the Date

The Eastertide of 2012 saw the Institution of a new Rector, and new 'ideas' into our Parish. After browsing earlier sites, which suggested that the Paschal Candle is (normally) 2 in diameter and 36 in height, I found one on the Eden site. Because the Candle is renewed each year, it is dated with the current year, in A.D., and commonly has the symbols of Alpha and Omega. After browsing the Eden site a little farther, I found the perfect transfer in rich red and gold. I suggest that the transfer I ordered, be used on no less than a 2 diameter candle, but height-wise could be used on a smaller or taller candle. Both Candle and Transfer were excellent value for money, and the tradition of the Paschal Candle proved to be a firm favourite, on Easter Day, thanks to Eden and Charles Farris.
