My Little Red Book of Stories and PicturesBarry Mason, via The Good Book Stall
This is one from a set of 4 books with a total of 180 stories from the Bible. Each is lovingly presented with quoted verses from the Bible, a child friendly version of the story, a thought provoking simple picture to colour, and a short prayer. This Red book looks at stories from the praise of Zechariah, Mary, the Angels and Simeon, Jesus healing people and performing miracles, some of the stories He told, through to the things He did after He came back to life. The further details on those who were instrumental in establishing the early church are very inspirational for discussing the issues of church with children, and looking at where Jesus is involved. I have enjoyed using these with my young children as prompters for new stories and as reminders for stories we already know.
There is an A4 identical version of the book available.
