Morning by MorningJackie Rowe, via The Good Book Stall
This reprint of a nineteenth century classic is a daily devotional book written by the influential preacher Charles Spurgeon. The format which takes a Bible verse for each day, and then gives a helpful comment, is familiar to most of us now, but in the 1860s this was a pioneering approach. Spurgeon's express purpose was to encourage people to meet with God daily. The style and language has not been updated at all, but it is really worth the effort to dig into the mine of this godly man's teaching, and you will come up with treasures to help you through each day.
