The Tribe are finishing after over a decade of huge influence in the UK and beyond. This CD/DVD package is a tribute to their ministry.

In 1988 and 1989 Andy Hawthorne and his brother Simon spearheaded radical city-wide outreach to young people called 'The Message'. To their amazement hundreds of local missions took place and around 25,000 young people came to the ten central events at the Manchester Apollo, where hundreds committed their lives to Christ. Shortly after this the seeds were sown for The World Wide Message Tribe. The band was designed to go into schools and share their faith in 'RE' lessons The first schools' mission was held in Cheadle Hulme and to their delight 37 young people came forward to ask more about Jesus. Dozens of schools across Manchester were booked, trying to focus on the tougher inner city areas where it seemed the young people knew very little of the best news in the world. The rest is history. And most of it is captured on this album in audio and DVD format.
